How to find your Perfect Fiverr Job 15 Tips – Review
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.
Updated on the 20 February 2023
Welcome to my website, nice to have you.
Today I want to share with you how you can earn an income with Fiverr.
Finding the right Fiverr job is hard.
So many possibilities make it hard to choose.
With the appropriate strategy, you may discover the perfect Fiverr job for your abilities and interests.
We’ll look at Fiverr’s employment categories, possible employers, and success in this post.
In How to find your Perfect Fiverr Job 15 Tips will go deeper into the platform.
Let’s get going…
How do Fiverr Freelance Jobs Work?
The client-work procedure differs between Upwork and Fiverr.
Upwork requires regular job-hunting.
A new job doesn’t happen automatically; you must actively seek it out.
Fiverr is unique.
Fiverr lets you sell your services as Gigs.
Each Gig starts with “I will…” and explains a particular deliverable at a specified price.
Fiverr gigs make money.
You can provide basic to all-inclusive packages.
Gig addons let consumers personalise their offerings with complementary services.
The most excellent aspect of Fiverr is that clients may buy without contacting you.
If your Gig fits their demands, you can make sales while sleeping.
People will still raise queries or request bespoke work.
Fiverr won’t replace business growth, but it will streamline it.
Reducing job-hunting time gives you extra time to finish the assignment.
Let’s tackle the first question individuals have when starting on Fiverr.

What to Sell on Fiverr?
1. Fiverr products
I’ve written for WPMU DEV on growing your business using Fiverr, including Gig ideas.
2. Personal Gigs
User testing, SEO audits, blog material.
Most readers will probably prefer alternative options.
Fiverr’s category pages might help you decide what to sell.
Each category and subcategory has many Gigs.
Visit the categories that suit you.
Then explore the Gigs and note anything you could contribute.
Taking notes on each Gig might help you stand apart.
Mimicking your competitors is the quickest approach to getting started and locating popular Gigs.
“What if I wish to give something not listed?”
Offering an original Gig may seem like tapping into a niche, but it’s not.
Customers presumably aren’t interested if your Gig isn’t on the platform.
Competition is beneficial in business, including site design.
The only presence of competition justifies the market. Competition equals market.
Programming & Tech includes a variety of outputs that may showcase your talents.

Web Developers may Offer to set up your Website:
- simple website
- maintain WordPress
- solve bugs
- implement security tools
- customise plugins
- design landing pages on Fiverr.
Try one if you’re a fresh developer looking to join the platform.
Later, you may try various Gigs or customised offerings.
I’ve begun connecting my UX and SEO assessment Gigs for buyers.
Some may not understand I provide both when seeing one Gig or the other.
I now offer the other Gig (the basic plan) on the one they are viewing.
I’m astonished by how well these upsells are doing; I hope this method helps you.
Consider putting up a Fiverr Studios Gig for supplementary services that consumers seek.
Still, you can’t or don’t want to execute.
You and another vendor may share the earnings.
This is like my SEO or UX employment, which entails updating another retailer’s website.
Now that you’ve seen Fiverr’s potential let’s speak about Gigs.

3. How to set up Successful Fiverr Gigs
Be deliberate while creating Gigs to discover how to make money on Fiverr.
Here are my Gigs and recent search and conversion data:
Initially, you’ll be limited in how many Gigs, Gig extras (upsells), and Gig multiples you can provide.
Each seller level gives you more minor limitations in these areas.
These early constraints may be annoying if you have many ideas, but they’re a benefit.
When you sell fewer services, it’s easier to give deliverables and a great customer experience.
I love Fiverr because:
Fiverr Gigs force you to “productise” your services.
This involves clearly stating what a buyer will get for a specific price.
These deliverables can be customised to the buyer’s demands through bundles, upsells, and multiples.
Producing your services for Fiverr makes them easy to quote when a client requests a particular order.
You may build procedures for comparable orders by standardising your products, reducing time and improving production.
By starting on Fiverr with strict constraints, you’ll be pushed to focus on your best services.
By concentrating, you may achieve efficiency.
$2000/mo Shahzad Saaed expanded a landing page gig by reusing templates.
My UX audit Gig is similar.
I can fill a lot of orders quickly.
What do you have?
While you ponder it, let’s go through some Gig setup considerations:
4. Fiverr Gig visuals: videos and images
Don’t judge a Fiverr Gig by its cover.
How you market your Fiverr Gigs will affect whether customers click through and buy.
Holly Steffy, Fiverr’s P.R. manager, offers these tips:
I suggest a Gig photo (608 x 410px or higher and a similar size ratio).
Professional, high-quality images should be used.
It should seem skilled and have copyright-free photos.
We advocate minimum picture text (20 per cent or less of the image).
Show one work example per picture for visual categories.
Non-visual types should believe the vendor’s competence based on the picture.
Unique Gig photos are required.
Not sure whether my images qualify; however, I’ve made money on Fiverr.
I recently revamped my Fiverr Gig graphics to match my logo.

5. Gig Image
If you’re well-known on Pro, put a photo of yourself in your central Gig image.
Add videos to promote yourself (and your skills) and explain what buyers get.
Gig extras they can purchase and why they’re worth the extra cost.
Simply videotape yourself in a non-busy setting, adequately dressed, and explain your worth.
The Gig Description: Sell your Offer with Excellent Copy
The Gig description may make or break a transaction like a sales page online.
Detail the deliverables at each stage (and Gig extras) to set expectations.
This increases your output efficiency and decreases the chance of adjustments due to misunderstanding.
Search for the service you want to offer on Fiverr to see how others describe it.
6. The section “How does the Fiverr search algorithm work?”
Provides further data on Fiverr SEO and using relevant keywords on Gigs.
Expect inquiries while creating your Gig description.
Detail your relevant experience to convince customers you’re the ideal candidate.
If you have similar Gigs, list them in the description with a call to action.
Format your article such that crucial details stand out.
Copy formatting tips:
Bold, italicise and underline to emphasise the text.
Easy-to-read lists use bullet points.
Keep words and paragraphs brief to avoid overwhelming possibilities.
7. Upsell Gig extras and packages
Consider basic, standard, and premium packages when selling your services on Fiverr.

Alternatively:
8. What’s your most straightforward service?
9. How can you make a regular bundle more valuable than your primary offering?
10. What deliverables come with a bells-and-whistles package?
Fiverr buyers have varying budgets.
Therefore, you should create bundles for different use cases.
You may upsell bundles and Gig extras.
Gig extras provide more of the same delivery (like more UX audit pages).
Obtain their order faster (like a one-day turnaround cost), or get complimentary services.
You can sell a gig extra for a UX audit on my SEO audit Gig and vice-versa.
If you can handle the orders, offering a one-day turnaround is a moneymaker.
Keep delivery dates reasonable.
Give yourself ample time to handle a last-minute one-day order.
Or schedule a Fiverr job in advance.
Gig type affects options like page testing and screen recording minutes.
Some of the Gig things I’ve provided were requested by clients.
Fiverr requires standardised Gigs.
You’ll make them feel attended to by employing Gig bundles and extras.
FAQ Section and Set Expectations with Gig Requirements
Fiverr helps you sell without any company development labour.
A FAQ and Gig required questions help reduce back-and-forth communication.
Fiverr helps you focus on work instead of business growth.
Answer people’s inquiries in the FAQ.
The FAQ should anticipate process and deliverable questions.
After launching a Gig, your Fiverr email will be full of FAQ suggestions.
When you get the same question again, you’re not giving enough information about your Gig.
You won’t know how bothersome it is until it becomes a daily occurrence.
Some customers won’t read your Gig description before asking queries.
We’re all guilty of bypassing FAQs to contact customer service directly.
Share the questions you ask on your Gig requirements once someone orders.
This helps prospects picture working with you.
Clickable links to related work in your portfolio aren’t allowed in your FAQ (or anywhere on Fiverr).
You may post Fiverr samples as a portfolio.

11. Specifications required for programming and technology jobs Fiverr Gigs
Setting Gig needs reduces back-and-forth on a project and ensures a delighted buyer.
Need any ideas for Gig requirements?
Fiverr PR Manager Holly Steffy lists standard programming and tech requirements:
- Website address and access credentials
- Hosting log-ins
- A picture or some text that has to be included
- Illustrations of ideas taken from several other websites (if the seller is creating a new website for the buyer)
- Inquire the buyer about their company and the objectives they have for the website.
12. Fiverr Gigs and How they are Priced
How to set the prices for your Gigs on Fiverr
Holly Steffy, Fiverr’s P.R. Manager, recommends sellers consider the following considerations when pricing their Gigs.
If they also work offline, what rates do they provide for such jobs?
What’s their targeted hourly wage (and how many hours is the job)?
How much do similar rivals charge on Fiverr?
How much more does their offline rival charge for this service than they do?
To make money on Fiverr, you must compete with other gigs in your category.
You may provide more price levels while maintaining quality as a Pro marketplace member.
Before utilising Fiverr, you must answer this question:
13. “Must I price my Gigs at $5?”
I’ve discovered:
If you’re starting off, don’t go into Pro.
Pricing your Fiverr Pro gigs too cheap may make you look uncompetitive.
Low-priced Gigs can assist novice users in building metrics, orders, and ratings.
Quick services are crucial to achieving excellence without burning out.
They delivered five-minute screen recordings and SEO audit reports before levelling up.
Don’t provide $5 tasks after being a credible vendor (higher levels and/or robust evaluations).
How does Fiverr’s search algorithm work:
Many things affect a Gig’s search rank.
Fiverr’s search algorithm is a trade secret, like Google’s. Components may include:
Total five-star reviews and an average rating
Total Orders Sold
Good-to-bad averages (anything under 90 per cent appears “bad,” according to Seller level standards).
Gig title, description, and image/video file names should have keywords.
A 2021 Inlet Solutions post offers Gig views and orders in the queue as additional ranking considerations.
Just Entrepreneurship has more on ranking signals and tweaking jobs.
You can optimise a Gig for Fiverr search if you know on-page SEO principles.

Which is better?
On Fiverr, client interactions are equally as important as optimising a Gig’s settings.
14. Another Fiverr SEO Factor
Fiverr warns late Gig sellers that orders may be slashed by 10%.
Unknown if the search algorithm or purchasers’ delivery time reactions caused this (or both).
Fiverrcast Episode 13 includes SEO advice, which is on their blog.
- Create a Gig for each service to avoid keyword under-optimisation.
- Correctly categorise Gigs.
- Don’t keyword stuff (overusing them to avoid coming across unnaturally).
- Use keywords in your Gig description.
- Google indexes picture file names. Fiverr’s First Super Seller and Official Ambassador, twistedweb123 (Adam), recommends naming your Gig’s picture files accordingly.
Adam states on Fiverrcast, “Google uses your first two words.”
I didn’t agree with every Fiverrcast SEO generalisation, but there were valuable insights.
This audio episode covers internal search and Google indexing together.
We can say this, though:
- WordPress,
- E-Commerce,
- Website development,
- Shopify,
- Website Designs are prominent Programming & Tech searches.
How to employ search tags to acquire more Gig impressions is the last Fiverr search tip.
Best practices for Fiverr search tags:
- Tag your services and industries.
- Add five tags maximum.
- Special characters and repeated terms won’t work.
Fiverr vs. other freelance sites
CodeinWP offers seven WordPress job boards and freelance markets.
Every speciality has a marketplace for assistants.
Upwork and Fiverr are the two significant freelance sites.
How does Fiverr generate money?
Fiverr costs for customers and freelancers.
Making money on Fiverr requires knowing that Fiverr will also profit from your services.
Freelancers and agencies pay to use Fiverr’s marketplace and to transfer cash.
Freelancers would be charged a fixed cost of 20% on all work.
Fiverr is comparable to Upwork, except there’s no incentive to keep with one customer.
In addition, if a consumer tips you, Fiverr deducts 20% from your total purchase payment.
A 3% transaction charge is reasonable, but any payment is unpleasant.
Fiverr also charges $1 every time you wish to send money to your bank account via direct deposit.
PayPal’s processing fees apply even if you transfer funds for free.
Fiverr charges a $2 service fee for orders up to $40 and 5% for purchases beyond $40.
It hurts to lose 20% of a sale to a new customer on Fiverr or Upwork.
It could soothe the pain a bit, too, knowing that these fees are tax-deductible.
It’s the small things.
Even though both platforms benefit from every transaction, Fiverr’s Gigs structure is preferable.

15. How to keep Fiverr Customers Satisfied: Recommendations for Working with Fiverr Clients
If you don’t want to deal with a customer again, follow Fiverr’s best practices.
This may need a mental adjustment.
You must forget that Fiverr is a bargain-hunting marketplace to make money there.
Not everyone I work with is frugal, especially Pro customers.
At least once every week, I receive gratuities of up to $40 on top of the sum previously paid.
Despite PayPal’s tipping feature, I wouldn’t put it on my usual bills outside Fiverr.
It is simply inappropriate.
It’s great that people may use this site’s option without feeling compelled.
Tips are essentially a reward for going above and above.
Are you starting to see that “underpromise and overdeliver” is a theme I keep returning to?
Some will try to convince you to do things without instruction.
You should propose a simple Gig bundle to people in need.
If they want a complex explanation, promise to do so if they purchase the Gig.
